Slightly Educational
The life skills school should have taught us
Ever feel like all those years of hard work didn’t adequately prepare you to be a successful adult in the real world? Studying for tests only to forget the content once you step out of the classroom. Countless hours writing papers or stressing over whether you’ve done enough to get into the university you’ve dreamt of.
All of your educational classes served an important purpose, teaching us history so we learn from our past faults, science so we understand our impact on the Earth, and arts so we get in touch with our creative side. However, whether you didn’t finish high school or received multiple PhDs, the truth of the matter is that the everyday tasks it takes to be successful in the the real world went primarily ignored throughout our education.
Well good news…class is in session. This blog is meant to be SLIGHTLY EDUCATIONAL. We’ll breakdown some of life’s most important skills and knowledge in an easily consumable way. As this blog grows we will cover a wide-array of topics, but are going to start with Personal Finance and some relevant life events (AKA Getting Married) as our current courses. Pulling from our own findings, successes, and failures, we hope you find this blog useful…and above all else, SLIGHTLY EDUCATIONAL.
